Ibum Forte Pure 200 mg/5 ml, oral suspension for children from 3 months, 100 g

Ibum Forte Pure is an oral suspension for children from 3 months of age, with analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is indicated for fever and mild to moderate pain associated with common childhood ailments, including colds, flu, post-vaccination reactions, headaches, throat and muscle pain, toothache, painful teething, joint and bone injuries, soft tissue injuries, postoperative pain, and ear inflammation.

Composition

Active substance: ibuprofen 200 mg per 5 ml suspension.

Excipients: liquid maltitol (E 965), glycerol (E 422), xanthan gum, sodium saccharin (E 954), sodium benzoate (E 211), fumaric acid, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, purified water.

Action

Provides analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effects, reducing pain, fever, and inflammation in children.

Indications

• Fever associated with colds, flu, and post-vaccination reactions
• Mild to moderate pain: headache, throat and muscle pain
• Toothache, pain after dental procedures, painful teething
• Joint and bone pain due to injuries, including sprains
• Pain from soft tissue injuries
• Postoperative pain
• Ear pain from middle ear inflammation

Dosage

• 3–6 months (5–7.6 kg): 1.25 ml up to 3 times daily
• 6–12 months (7.7–9 kg): 1.25 ml up to 3–4 times daily
• 1–3 years (10–15 kg): 2.5 ml up to 3 times daily
• 4–6 years (16–20 kg): 3.75 ml up to 3 times daily
• 7–9 years (21–29 kg): 5 ml up to 3 times daily
• 10–12 years (30–40 kg): 7.5 ml up to 3 times daily
• Over 12 years (over 40 kg): 7.5 ml up to 3–4 times daily

Administer at intervals of at least 6 hours. In infants under 6 months, use only after consulting a doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dose. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a doctor.

Contraindications

• Allergy to ibuprofen, NSAIDs, or any ingredient of the medicine
• Active or history of stomach or duodenal ulcers, bleeding, or perforation
• Severe liver, kidney, or heart failure
• Severe dehydration
• Concurrent use of other NSAIDs
• Last 3 months of pregnancy
• Blood clotting disorders or unexplained bleeding

Warnings and precautions

Consult a doctor before use in children with gastrointestinal, liver, kidney, heart, or allergic conditions. Avoid combining with other NSAIDs or medications that increase bleeding risk. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. Ensure proper hydration during administration.

Storage

Store in the original packaging below 25°C, out of sight and reach of children. Shelf life after first opening: 12 months.
