Sirupus Althaeae is a medicinal product designed to soothe dry cough and irritated mucous membranes of the mouth and throat. Suitable for children over 3 years and adults.

Features

• Marshmallow Root Extract: Contains macerate from 5 g of marshmallow root per 100 g of syrup.
• Protective Action: Forms a protective layer over the mucous membranes to reduce irritation and discomfort.
• Sweetened Syrup: Contains sucrose for a pleasant taste; 100 g contains 64 g sucrose.

Composition

• Active substance: macerate from 5 g of marshmallow root (35.9 g per 100 g of syrup)
• Excipients: sucrose, benzoic acid

Dosage and Administration

• Children 3–6 years: 2.5–5 ml 3 times daily
• Children 6–12 years: 5–10 ml 3–4 times daily
• Adults and children over 12 years: 10–15 ml 3–4 times daily
• Maximum daily dose: up to 5 times a day
