Composition

• Active substance: Ambroxol hydrochloride – 15 mg per 5 ml
• Excipients: sucralose, benzoic acid, hydroxyethylcellulose, forest fruit flavor, vanilla flavor, purified water

Recommended Dosage

• Children 1–2 years: 5 ml twice daily
• Children 2–6 years: 5 ml three times daily
• Children 6–12 years: 10 ml 2–3 times daily
• Adults and children over 12 years: 20 ml twice daily

Do not administer before bedtime. Dosage may be halved after 14 days of treatment.

Indications

Contraindications

• Common: taste disturbances, throat hypoesthesia, nausea, oral hypoesthesia
• Uncommon: diarrhea, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, vomiting, dry mouth
• Rare: hypersensitivity reactions, rash, hives
• Unknown: severe skin reactions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis

Warnings and Precautions

• Discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor if severe skin reactions occur
• Consult a doctor in cases of renal or severe liver failure
• Store out of reach of children. Shelf life after opening: 6 months

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Ambroxol crosses the placenta and is excreted in breast milk. Use during pregnancy, especially the first trimester, and breastfeeding is not recommended without medical advice.
