Apitussic, syrup for children, 120 ml

Apitussic is a medicinal syrup specially formulated for children to support respiratory health. It is used in cases of upper respiratory tract inflammation and cough, helping to relieve symptoms and facilitate expectoration.

Composition

• Active substance: sulfaguaiacol 0.80 g per 100 g of syrup
• Pine herbal honey 76 g (contains sucrose)
• Sodium benzoate 0.75 g
• Purified water up to 100 g
• 5 ml of syrup contains 52 mg of sulfoguaiacol (Sulfogaiacolum)

Dosage

• Children 6 years and older: 5 ml (1 teaspoon) 3–4 times daily
• Older children and adolescents: 10 ml (2 teaspoons) 3–4 times daily
• Adults: 10 ml (1 tablespoon) 3–4 times daily
• Do not use in children under 6 years of age
• Syrup should be taken at regular intervals and stored below 25ºC

Action

Apitussic syrup has an expectorant effect. It loosens secretions in the bronchial tree, reduces mucus viscosity, and facilitates mucus transport through the bronchi by activating cilia. Pine honey enhances the therapeutic effect and supports natural clearance of respiratory secretions.

• Allergy to bee products or sodium benzoate
