Paracetamol Aflofarm 120 mg/5 ml, oral suspension, strawberry flavor, 100 ml

Paracetamol Aflofarm is a strawberry-flavored oral suspension designed for children from 3 months of age. It provides effective relief from fever and mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, toothaches, teething pain, muscle aches, joint pain, and pain following surgical or dental procedures. The active ingredient, paracetamol, has proven analgesic and antipyretic properties, making it a safe and convenient choice for parents.

Indications

• Fever associated with colds and flu
• Mild to moderate pain of various origins: headaches, toothaches, teething pain, post-procedural pain, muscle and joint pain

Composition

• Active substance: paracetamol 120 mg per 5 ml of suspension
• Excipients: polysorbate 80, sucrose, xanthan gum, sodium saccharin, sodium benzoate, anhydrous citric acid, cochineal red (E124), strawberry flavor AR0012/F (contains ethanol, propylene glycol (E1520), benzyl alcohol), purified water

Dosage

• Children 3–12 months: 2.5–5 ml per dose
• Children 1–6 years: 5–10 ml per dose
• Children 6–12 years: 10–20 ml per dose

Shake the suspension vigorously for at least 30 seconds before use. Administer every 4 hours as needed, up to 4 doses per day.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or other ingredients
• Severe liver or kidney failure, viral hepatitis
• Alcoholism

Warnings and Precautions

• Do not use with other products containing paracetamol
• Consult your doctor if your child has kidney or liver problems, enzyme deficiencies, or sugar intolerance
• Follow the recommended maximum duration: up to 10 days for pain, 3 days for fever, 2 days for cold symptoms
• Pregnant and breastfeeding women should only use under medical supervision

Side Effects

May include allergic reactions such as rash, itching, swelling, respiratory issues, liver dysfunction, or gastrointestinal symptoms. Rare or very rare side effects include blood disorders or kidney complications.

• Contains sucrose: 5 ml provides 386 mg. Consider if diabetic or sugar-sensitive
