This exceptional cut comes from the front leg of pigs raised in free-range conditions and fed exclusively on acorns and natural pasture, ensuring the highest quality category of Iberian ham.

Los Pedroches is one of the most prestigious production areas for Pata Negra Iberian ham thanks to its hot summers, mild winters, and vast pasturelands where pigs graze freely. This natural environment and diet give the ham its distinctive character, with an intense Iberian flavor and fruity nuances. The meat is deep dark red, while the fat ranges from white to pink and translucent, offering a smooth, creamy texture and an intense aroma.
