KRAFT&DELE KD3071 Plastic Pipe Welding Machine 1500W – with 6 Teflon-Coated Sockets (20-63mm)

KRAFT&DELE KD3071 Plastic Pipe Welding Machine 1500W – with 6 Teflon-Coated Sockets (20-63mm)

The KRAFT&DELE KD3071 Plastic Pipe Welding Machine is a complete, professional-grade polyfusion welding kit designed for efficient and reliable installation of thermoplastic piping systems. Combining a high-power 1500W heating element with an essential set of six Teflon-coated welding sockets covering the most common diameters from 20mm to 63mm, this machine provides everything needed to create strong, permanent joints for water supply, heating, and various industrial applications.

Complete Welding Kit & High Performance

  • High-Power 1500W Operation: Delivers rapid heat-up (under 18 minutes to 300°C) and consistent thermal performance for efficient welding cycles, ensuring strong fusion even in cooler ambient temperatures.
  • Comprehensive Socket Set: Includes six essential Teflon (PTFE) coated welding sockets for diameters: 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, and 63mm. This covers the vast majority of residential and light commercial plastic pipe installations.
  • Professional Teflon Coating: All sockets feature a durable non-stick Teflon coating that ensures clean heat transfer, prevents melted plastic from sticking, and extends the life of the sockets, resulting in higher quality welds.
  • Wide & Adjustable Temperature Range: Offers a broad temperature spectrum from 50°C to 300°C, allowing for precise adjustment to suit different types of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) materials according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Lightweight & Portable Design: Weighing only 1.9 kg, the machine itself is easy to handle and transport to various job sites. The compact design does not compromise on power.
  • Simple & Reliable Operation: Designed for straightforward use with a manual temperature control dial, making it accessible for trained professionals who understand the polyfusion process parameters.
  • Ready for Standard Mains: Operates on standard 230V/50Hz power, ready for use in workshops and on construction sites across Europe.

Benefits for Installers & Contractors

  • Immediate Start-Up Capability: The inclusion of a full set of common sockets means no additional purchases are needed to begin most projects, offering excellent initial value.
  • Superior Weld Quality & Consistency: The Teflon-coated sockets and stable heating plate ensure uniform melting and clean joints, critical for leak-proof, long-lasting piping systems.
  • Versatile for Key Applications: Perfect for installing cold/hot potable water systems, underfloor heating circuits, radiator connections, compressed air lines, and chemical transfer lines using PE or PP pipes.
  • Enhanced Productivity: The fast heat-up time and not having to switch sockets between common sizes streamlines the workflow, allowing more joints to be completed in less time.
  • Durable & Cost-Effective Investment: The quality construction and coated sockets provide long service life, reducing long-term tooling costs for professionals and serious DIYers.

Primary Applications

  • Domestic Plumbing: Installation of entire house water supply (cold & hot) and drainage systems using PP or PE pipes.
  • Hydronic Heating Systems: Welding pipes for underfloor heating loops, connections to radiators, and manifold assemblies.
  • Garden & Irrigation Systems: Assembling main water lines and distribution networks for residential and agricultural irrigation.
  • Industrial Utility Lines: For non-critical compressed air, deionized water, or mild chemical transfer lines within facilities.

Safety & Operational Procedure

  1. Preparation: Ensure the work area is clean, dry, and well-ventilated. Select the correct Teflon socket for the pipe diameter.
  2. Heating: Plug in the welder and set the temperature dial according to the pipe material specifications (typically 260-280°C for PE/PP). Allow it to fully heat up.
  3. Welding: Once at temperature, simultaneously press the pipe end and the fitting onto the heated socket. Hold for the manufacturer's specified heating time.
  4. Joining: Quickly remove the pipe and fitting from the socket and join them together with a straight, firm push. Hold steady for the specified cooling time without twisting.
  • Safety First: Always wear heat-resistant gloves and safety glasses. The heating plate and sockets become extremely hot.
  • Socket Care: Keep Teflon sockets clean. Use a wooden or Teflon scraper to remove any plastic residue while the socket is warm. Never use metal tools that could damage the coating.
  • Parameter Adherence: Always follow the welding parameters (temperature, heating time, cooling time) recommended by the pipe and fitting manufacturer, not just the welder's general settings.
  • Electrical Safety: Connect to a properly grounded outlet. Inspect the power cord before each use.
