KRAFT&DELE KD5991 Professional Induction Heater 1500W – for Removing Rusted Bolts & Nuts up to 40mm

KRAFT&DELE KD5991 Professional Induction Heater 1500W – for Removing Rusted Bolts & Nuts up to 40mm

The KRAFT&DELE KD5991 Professional Induction Heater is a revolutionary, flame-free tool designed to solve the most frustrating problem in mechanical repair: removing rusted, seized, or thread-locked fasteners. Utilizing advanced electromagnetic induction technology, it delivers rapid, localized heat directly to the metal part, expanding it and breaking the bond of corrosion or adhesive. This 1500W powerhouse, complete with a set of four coils and a protective case, is an indispensable, safe, and highly effective solution for automotive technicians, industrial mechanics, and plumbers.

Advanced Induction Technology & Features

  • Flame-Free, Targeted Heating: Uses electromagnetic induction to heat only the conductive metal fastener itself, not the surrounding area. This is safer than using an open torch, eliminates fire risk near fuels or plastics, and prevents damage to adjacent components like wiring, hoses, or paint.
  • High Power & Rapid Heat-Up: The 1500W power supply delivers quick heat, reaching a target temperature of 300°C in as little as 30 seconds for smaller nuts (10-22mm) and up to 120 seconds for the largest (37-40mm).
  • Complete 4-Coil Set for Versatility: The kit includes four interchangeable induction coils, each optimized for a specific nut diameter range: for 10-22 mm, 23-28 mm, 29-36 mm, and 37-40 mm. This ensures efficient energy transfer and optimal heating for any job.
  • Precise Application Guidelines: Provides clear heating parameters (time & temperature) based on fastener diameter, taking the guesswork out of the process and ensuring effective results without overheating.
  • Compact, Portable & Complete Kit: The main unit is compact (380x65x65mm) and lightweight (~1kg). The entire system is housed in a durable protective case, making it easy to transport and store in a workshop or service vehicle.
  • Safe & Easy Operation: Simply select the correct coil for the fastener, wrap it around the nut/bolt, and activate the heater. No special training in torch use is required, and there are no open flames, gases, or hot surfaces (besides the target metal).

Key Benefits for Professionals

  • Saves Time & Prevents Damage: Drastically reduces the time spent trying to remove stubborn fasteners with manual force, which often leads to rounded heads, broken tools, or damaged components. Heats and loosens them effectively.
  • Enhanced Safety in Hazardous Areas: The absolute safest method for heating fasteners near fuel lines, brake fluid, in engine bays, or on plastic-intensive modern vehicles. No risk of igniting fumes or melting sensitive parts.
  • Preserves Threads & Components: Localized heat minimizes thermal stress on the parent material (e.g., an engine block or aluminum housing), helping to preserve thread integrity and prevent warping or cracking.
  • Versatile Beyond Automotive: Equally effective for industrial machinery maintenance, plumbing (heating old galvanized or rusted fittings), agricultural equipment repair, and disassembling bearings or sensors.
  • Professional-Grade Reliability: Built for daily use in demanding professional environments, providing a reliable solution that increases workshop capability and profitability.

Primary Applications

  • Automotive & Truck Repair: Removing rusted exhaust manifold nuts, suspension bolts, brake caliper pins, seized lambda sensors, and crankshaft pulleys.
  • Heavy Equipment & Agricultural Machinery: Disassembling large, corroded pins, track links, and fittings on excavators, tractors, and combines.
  • Plumbing & Pipefitting: Loosening rusted iron pipe unions, galvanized fittings, and valves that are frozen shut.
  • Industrial Plant Maintenance: Servicing pumps, valves, flanges, and bearing housings on production machinery.
  • Marine Applications: Working on saltwater-corroded fasteners on boats and docks.

Operation & Safety Procedure

  1. Preparation: Ensure the workpiece is clean and dry. Select the induction coil that corresponds to the fastener size (coil diameter should be at least 10mm larger than the nut).
  2. Setup: Plug the main unit into a 230V outlet. Wrap the selected coil around the nut/bolt to be heated, ensuring it is centered and has good contact.
  3. Heating: Turn on the heater. Refer to the provided heating chart for the approximate time needed based on diameter (e.g., 30-35s for a 20mm nut). The fastener will become hot to the touch.
  4. Removal: Turn off the heater. Using appropriate insulated tools, attempt to loosen the fastener while it is still hot. The expansion and contraction will have broken the corrosion bond.
  • Critical Safety: The heated metal part will be EXTREMELY HOT (300°C). Always wear heavy-duty, heat-resistant gloves and safety glasses. Never touch the heated fastener or coil with bare hands.
  • Work Area: Keep the area clear of flammable materials, even though there is no open flame.
  • Coil Care: Do not kink or sharply bend the induction coils. Allow them to cool before handling or storing.
  • Electrical Safety: Use a properly grounded outlet. Do not use if the power cord or coil cables are damaged.
  • Not for Non-Metals: This tool only heats conductive metals (steel, iron, aluminum, etc.). It will not work on plastic, wood, or ceramic.
