Prohibited Products Policy
Beyston Marketplace does not allow the listing, sale, or promotion of products that violate the law, may harm buyers or sellers, infringe third-party rights, or do not comply with Beyston’s marketplace rules.
Beyston has a strict policy regarding prohibited products. If a seller lists a prohibited product, Beyston may remove the product, reject the listing, request additional documents, temporarily restrict the seller’s account, or permanently terminate access to the marketplace.
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their products are legal, accurately described, properly documented, and compliant with all applicable laws, certificates, licenses, and safety requirements.
Main Types of Prohibited Products
The following products are prohibited on Beyston Marketplace:
1. Illegal Products
It is prohibited to sell any product that violates the laws of the country where the seller is located, where the buyer is located, or where the product is shipped.
This includes:
- illegal products,
- illegally imported or exported products,
- products that promote or support illegal activity,
- fake official documents, permits, certificates, or identity-related items.
2. Alcohol, Tobacco, Drugs, and Related Products
Beyston does not allow the sale of:
- alcoholic beverages,
- tobacco products,
- electronic cigarettes,
- e-liquids and similar products,
- illegal drugs,
- cannabis products,
- CBD products containing THC above the legal limit,
- drug paraphernalia,
- products or materials intended for the production, use, or promotion of drugs.
3. Medical Drugs, Medical Devices, and Products Making Medical Claims
The following products are prohibited:
- prescription medicines,
- regulated medical devices,
- medical-use products sold without the required authorization,
- products claiming to treat, prevent, cure, mitigate, or diagnose a disease or medical condition.
Product descriptions must not include medical claims unless such claims are legally approved and properly documented.
For example, sellers must not claim that jewelry, stones, supplements, or other products “cure,” “prevent disease,” “relieve pain,” or “have healing effects” unless legally authorized.
4. Dangerous Products, Weapons, and Hazardous Materials
Beyston does not allow the sale of:
- weapons,
- firearms and firearm parts,
- explosives,
- hazardous chemicals,
- toxic materials,
- flammable or combustible materials,
- radioactive materials,
- incorrectly labeled chemical or research materials,
- products that may cause serious harm to people, animals, or property.
5. Counterfeit Products and Intellectual Property Infringement
Beyston does not allow the sale of:
- counterfeit branded products,
- unauthorized copies of branded or designer products,
- products that infringe trademarks,
- products that infringe copyright,
- products that infringe patents or design rights,
- music, films, software, images, or other protected materials without proper authorization.
If a seller does not have the legal right to sell a branded product, the product must not be listed on Beyston.
6. Products Promoting Hatred, Violence, or Harm
Products are prohibited if they:
- promote hatred,
- support violence,
- glorify violence,
- encourage harm against people or property,
- target or insult people based on race, religion, gender, disability, nationality, sexual orientation, or other protected personal characteristics.
Beyston may remove such products without prior notice.
7. Adult Content and Sexual Products
Beyston does not allow the sale or promotion of:
- pornographic content,
- sexually explicit media,
- adult sexual products,
- products primarily intended for sexual gratification.
8. Human Body Parts, Human Fluids, and Certain Animal Products
Beyston does not allow the sale of:
- human body parts,
- human bodily fluids,
- illegal or regulated animal products,
- products made from endangered or protected animals,
- products restricted by local or international law.
9. Gambling, Lotteries, and Prize-Related Products
Beyston does not allow the sale of:
- gambling equipment,
- betting or casino-related products,
- lottery tickets,
- materials connected to games with monetary or material prizes,
- products that promote unauthorized betting, gambling, or lotteries.
10. Financial, Crypto, and Stored-Value Products
Beyston does not allow the sale of:
- cryptocurrencies,
- NFT products,
- prepaid payment cards,
- gift cards without Beyston’s prior approval,
- virtual credits,
- in-game currencies,
- products that store monetary value.
11. Misleading or Deceptive Products
Products are prohibited if they:
- make false or exaggerated claims,
- use misleading descriptions,
- use fake reviews or fake testimonials,
- include hidden fees,
- mislead buyers about the product’s origin, material, brand, quality, or properties.
12. Fake Documents and Identity-Related Items
Beyston does not allow the sale of:
- fake passports,
- fake ID cards,
- fake certificates,
- fake licenses,
- fake official documents,
- products that help bypass identity verification or legal requirements.
Products That May Require Additional Review
Some products may be allowed only after Beyston’s prior review or approval.
These may include:
- high-value jewelry,
- precious metals,
- precious or semi-precious stones,
- jewelry made with natural stones or requiring certificates,
- dietary supplements,
- vitamins,
- cosmetics,
- health-related products,
- children’s products,
- safety-related products,
- products that require licenses, certificates, or conformity documents.
Beyston may request additional documentation, such as manufacturer details, conformity documents, certificates, origin information, product safety data, or other proof required by law or marketplace rules.
Jewelry and Natural Stone Products
Jewelry made with natural stones, amber, silver, gold, or other valuable materials may be sold on Beyston if the products are legal, accurately described, and do not contain misleading claims.
Sellers must clearly state:
- what material the product is made from,
- whether the stone is natural, treated, dyed, synthetic, or imitation,
- whether the product has a certificate,
- the actual size, weight, and condition of the product.
It is prohibited to attribute medical or healing properties to jewelry, amber, natural stones, or similar products unless such claims are legally approved and properly documented.
For example, for an amber bracelet, it is acceptable to write:
- natural amber bracelet
- handmade jewelry
- gift for women
It is not allowed to write:
- heals pain
- helps against diseases
- healing amber
- prevents health problems
Beyston’s Rights
Beyston reserves the right to:
- reject a product listing,
- remove a published product,
- request additional documents,
- temporarily restrict a seller’s account,
- permanently terminate a seller’s account,
- cancel listings that violate these rules, applicable laws, or payment partner requirements.
