Biowet INSECTIN 50 g is a topical ectoparasiticide powder formulated to control fleas, ticks, lice and other external parasites on dogs and pigeons. It provides quick contact action and is intended for external use only.

Indications

For the treatment and control of external parasitic infestations (fleas, ticks, lice, and similar ectoparasites) in dogs and pigeons.

Dosage and Administration

Use strictly according to the label instructions or a veterinarian’s recommendation. General guidance:

• Wear gloves when handling the powder.
• Apply a light dusting to the affected areas of the coat, avoiding eyes, nose, mouth and genitals.
• For whole-body treatment, apply evenly over the coat and rub gently into the fur down to the skin.
• Repeat treatment as instructed on the packaging (usually at intervals specified for the product and parasite life-cycle).

Contraindications & Precautions

• For external use only — do not administer orally.
• Do not use on animals known to be hypersensitive to pyrethroids or formulation components.
• Do not use on sick, debilitated, very young or overly stressed animals unless advised by a veterinarian.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and contact a veterinarian if irritation persists.
• Humans: avoid inhalation and prolonged skin contact. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

Store in original packaging at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children and pets when not in use.
